Post by: serj shergill on January 03, 2016, 11:08:56 pm
Has anyone ever used one of theses  chemical injectors? If so, any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Downstream injector ? they only pick up on low pressure and dilution rates vary with the flow. OK with TFR to wash the van

Just spent a little time looking and thats  similar to the dosatron but designed to dose paracetic acid which is a sterilising agent used in the food industry in CIP's etc. If your looking to dose for softwash then there are others out there better suited to this purpose. what are you looking to do with it ?

Was going to use it for applying hypo on driveways and patios.

A agricultural company that I deal with have one, that that has only been used twice and are practically giving it away considering what they paid for it brand new.. just thought it would make my life easier and having looked at easy injector which retails about £800 thought this was a steal...

What does it mix at …what % ? As far as I know there is only the D 3 RE 25 IE that is any use to us.

Hi chris, The dos injector has a rotating head which enables you to decide the % you wish to have the dilution  level at... I have never come across such a device myself. I saw it being used in a large green house. the mechanics seemed quite simple, one end you plug your hose pipe, it then draws up the hypo through a suction pipe and comes out the other end diluted.. though the exit  flow rate is all dependant on your water feed.

It would only be any good for adding nutriants to your grow….unless you are in that line of business it is on no use to you.
