Title: A link to the best trad rubbers around please?
Post by: Wc Solutions on December 29, 2015, 07:38:42 pm
Past few months the rubbers I've been buying are terrible!

Pre cut pulex - never had an issue before but the past few packs iv bought have been too short, round off quick and get lines in them far too often.

So need to get something a lot better

ive bought from wcw and bladeright and then got them off ebay seem cheaper when you factor postage in, think the guy selling them might be from wcw anyway!

i also feel i have been going through pulex rubber a lot quicker than i have done before. I always use hard rubbers. Do suppliers ever sell it on a roll?

Pulex soft seem to be the only ones I can get locally. I have found that they leave lines almost from the first time I use them! I've had to import some Unger hard, and they are better, but I'm going to try the ones in the OP's link next.

Thanks for posting this up.

John

Try winters if you only want some rubber I was looking at there site yesterday and if you have a normal post delivery they don't charge postage.

I use pulex hard rubbers, buy 36" x 100 wen I get them, bought me last batch from corwoods @ 2.16 a piece plus vat

Usually get them from wcw, but needed resin quick so got them as well and looking at the prices for the razor red ones in link there not much in it as far as cost goes.

I may give them a little try and pick a pack of 10 up

For the amount i use i've never had a problem with using the Unger rubbers from screwfix. Fiver for a 41 inch strip.

Next time you are buying 100 lengths you should try Window Cleaning Stuff £150+ VAT, a saving of £80

I am probably the only one who doesn't like the facelift red. They leave marks but do last. Unger green is a complete waste of money.
Ettore soft is the best though I might try this black diamond stuff.
