Title: Mounting Controller??
Post by: David Beecroft on December 22, 2015, 07:59:41 am
Good morning folks,
my new pump controller , (Liquid Logic) arrived from Gardiners yesterday. However there doesn't seem to be an obvious way of mounting it except by screwing fittings into the casing itself, which I'm afraid would damage the inner workings. Any suggestions? Photo's would be helpful. ????? :)

I'm sure if you remove the back there are four blanked areas for drilling holes through. You could silicone the box to a flat surface too if you don't fancy drilling.

im not sure which controller you've bought from them but you usually turn the 4 screws half a turn to release front cover then inside you will see 4 screw holes that you just put a couple of self tappers through, replace the front cover and turn cover screw half a turn to lock the cover back on!!

The front cover comes off,  pus screw fittings,      then screw the rear casing onto wood backing   ply line in van,  screw front casing back on then follow instructions to set it up with your pump system.

front cover screws push in and out to release the front.

Okay, here I am again. :( Got the controller mounted , wired it up etc etc. so far so good. Then I set about calibrating it as per instructions. PROBLEM 1, Instruction-Press up until the display shows 30, Done. Instruction 2, press & hold up & enter to go into calibration. Problem, when you hold up and before you are able to to press enter the display shoots up to anywhere between 60 -99? PROBLEM 2, I start it running and while the pump works as soon as I attach it to the reel and hose with the hose tap open the controller indicate dE, (dead end). Where am i going wrong? Help would be appreciated.

make sure the water is coming out of your reel,     when red light comes on  unclip hose from reel to make sure waters reaching the pole hose.        just double check pump wires etc are all correctly connected up as should be.   then try again

That was one of the reasons I started going direct to the battery  ;D

Just be calm and don't smash the controller up
