Title: Mould in van
Post by: Shane sharples on December 21, 2015, 09:47:40 am
Hi all, my van is ply lined and iv noticed recently that mould is starting to grow underneath where my hose reel is -
What's the best way of dealing with it?
Give it a scrub with detergent?
Replace the piece of ply underneath ?
Treat with waterproof paint/oil?
Does anyone else get this?
Cheers

Hi shrek....there are many ways to remove mould from ply, a mild bleach solution, brushing antifreeze on the affected area, bicarbonate soda to name a few. If the ply has started to bubble you'll be best replacing. Its worth treating the new ply prior to laying, ive used fence and decking paint with good results
