I've got a gardiner pole.SLX. The number 5 pole is jammed in the number 6 pole like nothing I've ever seen before. I can't pull it or twist is at all.... I've flushed it through but no joy at all. Any advice on how to un jam it >:(

Pressure washer?
You should really wash it out regularly.

Probably the stop tape has puckered up. Strip the clamp bare (take the bolt out) maybe warm the pole shaft to soften the tape and try again?

Get someone to hold the end of one section and twist in opposite directions and it will come apart I had this time and time again when used the modular a lot.

As Dave said, it's probably the stop tape. This happened to me after I'd applied ptfe spray. I got hold of one end, my helper got hold of the other section and we pulled and twisted and after about 20 minutes and a massive game of tug of war we managed to free the sections. Good luck!!

What a pain - it does happen very occasionally.
The best way of freeing it up is to heat the carbon fibre over the area where the joint stop tape will be. This will soften the glue and will gradually allow you to twist apart. You can use either a hot air gun or a hair dryer on maximum. Be careful if using a hot air gun that you only heat the carbon up and do not set light to it.
Once apart, clean off any adhesive from the old tape and re-apply fresh overlap tape in position (bottom of section and about 15cm up).
