Hi
Can anyone help me, I am looking for a UK supplier of Electro Static Dissipative floor polish, currently we use Butchers discharge, unfortunately, you can no longer buy this in the Europe, it is US market only, can anyone recommend a product or supplier, the seal has to be between 5-10 ohms resistance after application

Try Teknis here (http://www.teknis.co.uk/p-1069-electrostatic-dissipative-floor-finish.aspx)

Ask Kevin Martin but please wait until,at least Sunday/ monday🍻🍻🍸🍹🍷🍟🎺🎻🎅🎅👮

Good find David thank you for sharing. Tadgh

Thanks guys, I have researched this product already and unfortunately the Teknis seal is in the upper level of ohms, so not any use.

You could look at Micare Antistatic Floor Polish (http://och.co.uk/heavy_duty_degreaser/micare_antistatic_floor_polish_5l_ideal_for_computer_rooms).
This is a copy of the test report on Micare Antistatic Floor Polish.
The Surface Resistance and Charge Relaxation data is now available for your flooring sample sent to
Chilworth for analysis. I have also tested the uncoated tile to give you a comparison between the
two. As you can see the static dissipative coating works very well and is slightly affected by humidity
but not significantly.
As you were probably aware the uncoated tile is highly insulating and decreasing the humidity does
not really affect the Resistance or Relaxation Time, the test results are summarised below:
Coated Tile
Pass criteria is resistance must be < 1 x 10E 6 (i.e. 1 million) ohms.
We can call our product a "dissipative" floor polish.
Surface Resistance @ Ambient RH = Minimum :5.1 x 10E 7 Ohms
Maximum :5.2 x 10E 7 Ohms
Average :5.2 x 10E 7 Ohms
The low humidity results are impressive, this reading was taken at 11oH, (low humidities are
harder to get results). 11oH is drier than the Sahara.
Surface Resistance @ Low RH = Minimum :1.7 x 10E 8 Ohms
Maximum :1.9 x 10E 8 Ohms
Average :1.8 x 10E 8 Ohms
Charge relaxation pass criteria requires discharging static in less than 0.25 seconds. Ours
discharged in less than 0.01 seconds
Charge Relaxation Time @ Ambient RH = <1 sec
Charge Relaxation Time @ Low RH = <1 sec
Below are comparitive results for an untreated tile. At ambient conditions the untreated tile
had 10,000 times more resistance and greater than 6000 times slower discharge rate.
Uncoated Tile
Surface Resistance @ Ambient RH = Minimum :1.8 x 10E 12 Ohms
Maximum :2.0 x 10E 12 Ohms
Average :1.9 x 10E 12 Ohms
Surface Resistance @ Low RH = Minimum :3.8 x 10E 12 Ohms
Maximum :4.8 x 10E 12 Ohms
Average :4.3 x 10E 12 Ohms
Charge Relaxation Time @ Ambient RH = 68 secs
Charge Relaxation Time @ Ambient RH = 82 secs
Or ring selden and ask about selstat

Hi David
Many thanks for the product info, this looks more like the measurements that I am looking for. As for the selden it falls way below the measurements. ;D
