Hi all,
Hope someone can help. Just kitted out another van with a 100psi pump and varistream 2. The pump works fine on its own, pumping to fourth floor work, too much power in fact.
But when connected to varistream you can't really change the flow rate much. It's either on quite low or off completely and no good for fourth floor work, and when you turn it to boost you get less not more flow rate!
Cheers,
Huw.

Hi Seerclean, Have you dissconnected the pressure switch on your pump?
I only have 60 psi but have no problems at all with the Varistream 2.
Give williamsons pumps a call, you will find them more than helpfull. DAI

have you tryed adjusting the blue dial inside the varistream unit?

Yeah, pressure switch has been removed. Recently fitted a varistream to another van with 100psi pump with no problem, flow can be altered fine.
No I haven't adjusted the blue dial inside varistream, what effect will this achieve?
Cheers,
Huw.

Just a thought, if you are using the crimp connectors, have you crimped them well, if they're not making a good contact that could affect the pump. Just re-check that all of them are crimped tight.

You need to sometimes adjust the blue dial to suit your pump you are probably best to call williamsonpumps and ask them they are very helpful

Are you using identical hoses on both systems. When the microbore inner diameter is reduced it can have detrimental effect on the flow.
