Choosing between a 400 litre and a 350 litre tank. Width is 110 cm, and most flat 400 litres, are this width, anyone else have any Advice.
Thanks

I'm not sure a 400 will fit. I've never had this van tho.
Might be worth getting something bigger.

Hi Rob
K Systems advertise a Zifira kit. They also have a couple of photos of an Astra Van fitted with a tank in their gallery section.

Not sure how good K System tanks are (frames) but it could be worth a call to them.
I see that a few on here say that you can fit a 400 liter flat tank into an Astra.
jonboywalton75 had/has a 350 liter tank in his Astra van which he found limiting. He did question that if he fitted a 400 liter tank, would he have enough room for a hose reel.
That is probably a good question as I see the Astra on the K systems galley has a much smaller diamt hose reel, albeit much wider.
So I would have to deduct that the photo in their galley is a 400 liter tank.
Then of course the next question is how easy is it to secure a frame through the load bed to fit spreader plates underneath. If it means removing the fuel tank then this adds to the complication. Is there access to the front section that originally covers the passenger foot wells in the Estate so you can put spreader plates under that?
I wonder if Grippa Tank have any solutions to this?

A 400 fits fine in an Astra. I had 1 a few years back

A 350 pushes the weight to the limit.
I wouldn't have gone any higher myself, roomwise as well
