Anyone know of someone near Birmingham way who can service/repair Prowlers?
-
thought HM had a contact in that neck of the woods?
-
There easy enough. Blower grease, change oil and belts if needed.
-
Must of been a shard of metal in the system after last vac blew as look at the new one :'(

Thanks for the replies, i've checked and done all the oils and grease, but i am getting low vacuum - not sure if the throttle is all ok on the engine, could do with someone in the know coming and helping (paid for of course!)
-
Filter box clean?
-
you mean the filter in the 'in box' ?
it looks ok - its all gone a bit dark now so i have finished looking!
i was going to connect the hose without the filter in when i can to see if it makes a better vacuum - obviously i wont send anything down the hose without a filter in
the filter looks clean but rusted up a bit inside
-
I used to replace my filter periodically.
-
ok, i'll have another look tomm

That metal filter needs to be as clean as possible, best off pressure washing it. The throttle lever sometimes slips back if the screw has come loose. Tighten it up to stop it slipping.

Ok - thanks for that John. Wish you were still selling the Prowler so i could give you a call and get some advice.
-
Feel free

ok will do, thanks John - do you still stock any spares?
