The usual suspects will be along.
which is that then as most of the popular machines on here are way over 2k .
Maybe a midsize pro chem machine would be a start.
If it was me I would buy a better machine pre-owned , probably of classifieds on here.

Is that 2k machine only???
Second hand twin vac machine with over 200psi pump if you need other items like vacuum.
For 2k new I would look at Alltec, cleansmart and prochem I don't think other suppliers do a machine under that

Hi keyser
some of the best deals I have got is when people go out of business, many start buy new stuff and just dont make it, and end up selling. what is interesting is that its not always new guys and you can if your lucky pick up databases from guys that giving up. I have had two buys out's like this and have made many thousands from them.
Another advantage is that the machines have not been used that much so are like new. dont get caught out when they try and sell products alone side trying to add value. many deals like this are over priced and in the end they dont sell so its worth approaching and saying that if they dont sell you be interested in the machine only.
Good Luck

job I'm doing starts after xmas and its a hotel 180 rooms . inc the reception/ bar area etc . a van mount wouldn't be viable . it needs to be mega portable

Don't take this the wrong way or anything I'm just curious, how do you price a job like that if your not too sure which machine you need to do it?
-
i also want to go on a course , can anyone recommend one

i have no idea lol . I've took an educated guess

is the dry fusion a good choice ?

Secondhand Airflex are about £1500 to £2000, but don't come up very often.
Secondhand Prochem 2100 (twin vac) £1000 to £1200, vac, airmover, few chems in budget.

Prochem Steempro 2000 Carpet Cleaning Machine and Equipment. I've seen this on ebay is this worth having?
-
Any second hand machine is only worth half the price of a new one, unless its really mint condition. you need to go and see what your buying, as there will be a lot of well used rubbish for sale.
Can you afford to lease a new machine over say 2 year period, that way everything is new & should work properly from day one.
-
never thought about that . still not sure which one to get. if you were me what would you go for ?
-
Its very much personal choice, you could do with demoing a few machines and seeing which you prefer.
Where abouts in the country are you?
-
grantham lincs. east midlands

There are at least 5 or 6 portable manufacturers, I would try and have a look at anything for sale within a 20 mile radius of where you live.
You will get a feel for what's good and bad value.
