Post by: Hilton on December 09, 2015, 11:44:16 am: There really should be no need,there are plenty of products out there to use in a domestic situation designed specifically for the job at hand, you could also do some serious damage to fabrics and backing materials using white spirit.

There is the odour issue as well but as mentioned there are now low odour products available,I would just avoid it.

Someone above said to use it on commercial carpets. I would defiantly not use it on carpet tile or CGD office carpet.
