It always puzzles me why some people let their property guttering get so bad as it don't work out that expensive to have them regularly maintained.

Notice the electrical cable running along the inside of the gutter!
Wouldn't like to bash it with the gutter vac attachments :o

Best one I had was on a newish build the whole ridge on a corner was found to be in dangerous condition and sliding away.
Needless to say I stopped the job, informed the customer then came back to clear the gutters when they had the roof fixed.

Chap had ask me to look at the fascia and it turns out the majority of the fascia is rotten front and back and the front soffit is rotten as well.  You can push your finger into it like its a sponge.

That's so true so the wife keeps telling me  ;D
It's never an outright no but then I do it when I'm ready and want to not when I'm told.

Harris pole with a bungie cord tie rapped to it and a bit of perseverance. This has been the most difficult gutter I have cleaned. 5 hours for £?
Unknown as I can't predict the cost/life of equipment. :P

Scotland's most expensive street!
No extra charge for the hassle and no tip!
One of the reasons I don't have local work.

I've had a few £20 tips recently and surprisingly ONE of them was in Bearsden, so I've cut back on my criticism of the locals for being stingy buggers!
I could have bumpt the price up by £50 but I tend to stick to my original estimates.

Another saying is "a fool and his money are easily parted"

It's very nice to get large tips out of the blue as some realise the job in hand can be a bugger & take alot more time to do so feel you have not charged enough for your efforts.

Those looked beautiful... why did you remove them? A clogged gutter is not such a big deal...

Just kidding.
