Title: gutter cleaning carbon poles
Post by: Mick Kent on December 03, 2015, 05:50:42 pm
Are they simply modular poles that are the same as window cleaning or are they totally different?
Im looking at buying a decent machine and am hopeing i can save a small fortune by not having to purchase the pole. I have 6 sections of modular pole that are 49mm diameter that im pretty sure would work as a gutter cleaning pole.
Advice please especially from Smudger.

Thanks.

i use the modular ones from grippa and find them a pain as they tend to twist as your using them and i have had one section break .

Cant see any problem using the ones you already have , as you already have them you may as well give them a go .

They're modular poles which are slightly tapered at one end to go into the next section. If you've got the poles already then use them as these were the most expensive part of my kit.
