I must be the only one in the whole world who doesn't like it lol.

I found it left far too many bits on the glass that a dual trim Gardiner would take off.

The bristles are too soft for my style of cleaning.

They are fast. Coz they splay out and miss most stuff.

Wouldn't remove bee spots at all. Bird poo was hard as well.

Maybe it's me ;D

I like mine - haven't taken them off even on my 44' pole. I used to faff about changing brushes for leaded, first cleans, single pane glass etc. Just use the one brush these days.

I didn't like the x line either. I prefer a brush that feels softer on the glass and the felt too solid on the glass, I'm loving the supreme flocked now, it is a one brush does all brush.

Which brush do you find removes bee spots and bird poo with ease. I still have not found one.

The flocked sill xline is an absolute beast of a brush. I originally bought it for f/s/g cleaning but its been my main brush for the last few days. It covers such a big area of the glass and obliterates dirt so easily..

Iv got 3 different xlines and there all great brushes in there own right, can't fault them. The best thing for sure though is how well they keep there shape no matter how aggressive you are with them.

None, until i get complaints about them. They just stay on the glass.

I decide a while ago to just stick with gardeners, I came to this decision after buying two poles a Phoenix carbon x and a slx last January, the Phoenix I not absolutely broken it spun on every clamp after about a month and the carbon just wore down so quickly, the slx I haven't even tightened the clamps yet

Used the xline mono dt for a few days and found it a good brush.

Same size and weight as Gardiner's sl. I find it a better brush than the sl medium mixed (which I do not rate). I think this is largely due to the bristles keeping a better shape, as opposed to collapsing into the glass. This means more of the bristle head is in contact with the glass providing better scrubbing.

How do you find the weight of the sill brush. On their website it weighs 222g but it looks heavier going by the picture?
Also do you find a lot of dirt gets trapped in bristles from cleaning the sills?
Thanks.

The sill feels very similar to the mono weightwise, to me anyway.
The joy with the xlines is the dirt wipes out of the bristles very easily, just a quick wipe with the hand.

I dont have any xlines , but one thing that strikes me with all previous comments is ......could the fact just be that the xline bristle is closer to a Gardiner stiff bristle ?
All I use is sl stiff and extreme stiff and they dont look much different from when I got them in March , Alex will know as he dispatched them himself after I had my stroke.

I wondered that but have not tried any of the Gardiner stiff brushes. Could well be they are a better option than the medium versions.

Just ordered 2 xline brushes online as the 25% discount still stands. Am guessing it will not apply tomorrow as it was only supposed to be for Friday.

The stiff brushes are ok for hot users but I wouldn't trust them on glass for cold water use, great for fsg cleans though.
