As per the title really,
What's the best split charge relay from experience? Just to keep a leisure battery in the back of the van topped up.

this guy http://www.simplysplitcharge.co.uk/ give him a bell forget his name but very helpful and wont sell you what you don't need. I got mine off him after explaining what I was after, I think a few others on here have used him as well.

So easy to fit and iv only taken my battery out once in the last year to bench charge.

A good auto electrician will know what's best for you setup depending on the setup your running ie pump only or heater and pump electric feel etc,be careful not to get ripped off though like I did the actual split charge relay kit is not that expensive but if your a bit green to how much these things cost they will tell you the relay itself is around £200 which is b******s

Cheers guys.
Its only going to be like an auxillary battery, running lights in the back of the van, extra 12v supply when needed and occasionally used to run a shurflo for shorts periods. Remember reading a few posts on here ages ago about a brand a few guys used from ebay but cant find the post.
They are pretty simple to wire up arent they?

Some on here run straight from the van battery for just a pump but I wouldn't do that,it depends what you need power for a 12v pump doesn't draw as much as say a heater or electric reel they really need to have there own battery really. For a basic relay get an autoelectrician to do it m8 just don't pay more than £80-100 notes

Cheers guys, Found a decent full kit on eBay, Durite relay and all the cables.
