Two words: Gore Tex.
Same here though; the tips for Chrimbo 2017 are already rolling in and it looks like being a record tipping year.
I think I'll take 14 months off in 2018 and escape the forecast bad weather by holidaying in India or Syria.
We are self employed, aren't we?

No tips yet.

Can't expect much or anything.

Put nearly every customers clean price up 2 months ago.

So far, I have had one cup of coffee and a cancellation text.  The coffee was nice and the lost job was only a £12er, so hardly a disaster.

It started to change some years ago.  I used to get quite a few.  Then I decided to not go out collecting.  BACS payments and cheques in the post from people who I see far less often, has distanced me from them.  I don't mind though because the time, money and hassle spent collecting was far more than any tips.
