Hi Guy's,
Just bought a new slx18 with a flow control valve fitted. Any ideas on how to prevent getting soaked every time it decides to semi separate. Really p****ing me off, I've cable tied it to the pole to stop it dragging along the ground, but it keeps separating and soaking me!!! I know, I know, only a couple of weeks till the univalve, but in the meantime?????
Thanks, Phil.

Is that the same valve as on the backpack? When I turn it off it creates a spray..... Not funny when you wear glasses! :(

Hi Phil
Sounds strange having the valve semi-separate - any chance of sending me an email to alex@agardiner.co.uk with a photo of which part is separating on you? I can then look at sorting this for you.

Hi W.booler
Which valve is it that is spraying? Is it from the valve itself or the hose joining on to the hose barb? A photo would help me troubleshoot this for you.

Hi Alex, new to this equipment and not up to date on fitting names. It's the valve on the backpack that has a slight leak, however when I connect to pole and turn tap off on the pole, the leak becomes a spray under pressure. If it was an ordinary plumbing compression fitting then I'd know just to nip it up, but not sure what to do on this type of fitting. If memory serves me right, it is male to female connection. I can email my details tomorrow if that makes it easier, and then you'd know what I purchased.

Hi W.booler
Email me your details and I can look this up for you. A photo of the part would also help me diagnose the issue :)

Thanks Alex,
I feel a bit of a nana, moved the cable ties and everything is sorted!
