If you're new to window cleaning I would suggest traditional to start with, you will need to be able to work this way for any inside cleaning. Once you have built up a sizable round then consider if financially you can afford WFP.

Thanks Trev as I am a complete novice could you tell me what you use scrim for.
Thanks in advance

Once you have bladed the soap from the window you will have a small amount of excess liquid along the edge of the glass against the frame. Using the scrim just wipe it away leaving the window completely clear. I prefer Grade 1 scrim other people prefer microfibre cloths, its personal choice. Always keep your scrim as dry as possible otherwise you may get smears, you will also need to boil your scrim for about an hour when you first buy it as it will be very hard and the fibres need working.
Good luck

Are the small brass clips that you fit on the end of your rubbers ok?

These are called End clips, a little tip for you is to cut you balde about 5mm too short and use the clips to stretch the blade, gives better contact onto the glass.
