Its like saying every day I am going to die today one day you will be right

Every single year the Express publishes the same weather warning at this time of year and every year it does't materialize. They really are a desperate publication. I'd be more concerned if they hadn't said anything coz thats the year we'll cop it.

Taken from the weather outlook site..........
"On balance the signals currently suggest winter 2015/16 is likely to be milder than average in the UK. Despite that, increased frequency of colder than average winters since 2008/09 (as compared to the preceding 20 years) means there is much uncertainty."

Maybe something to do with oil and gas markets.

Yea, lets convince Joe Public its brass monkeys out there so they turn up the thermostat.
Then we'll put an ad on the telly telling them to turn the thermostat down by 1° so they can save on their gas bills

I read somewhere recently that the UK can expect the worst winter for 50 years.
The weather here in Ireland is not so different, so we could reasonably expect a bad one if the predictions are true. And with many people here who live their lives according to the forecast (I've had customers cancel holidays because 'it's going to rain' only to find that the forecast was wrong), it's going to be interesting!
The last couple of weeks here have been better than our summer. It's been mainly dry, with temperatures here around 18c.
I don't take any notice of the forecasts. If i did I'd spend my whole life indoors..
