Do you spend more time on this forum than you should? Before I found it my books were always upto date. I could have given them to my accountant on the 6th April.
Now I'm miles behind. I should be giving more time to the Mrs too.
The problem is it gets addictive. This forum gives more information in a week than an annual subscription to the magazine.
My hat comes off to the moderators who have to wade through all the posts and threads. The time they put into this must be considerable, and your time is the most precious thing you have. Thanks guys, your efforts are much appreciated.
Now I'm off to spend some time with the Mrs. Dai

Definately addictive, shows we are all serious about our business 8)
I wouldnt be as advanced as i am today without this site

Moderators are losers ;D
If they really wade through all the posts, how boring! What a waste of valuable time!
If they don't check through them, then they're not doing a proper job. No wonder it's a charity ;D

Brett you wouldnt have met me either ;D
to help you advance, nice to see another pupil doing well ;D

My eyes glaze over sometimes, but I am getting good at skimming through the posts with my red pen metaphorically poised to draw a big red cross through something offensive :P
And when someone complains we get mail!

Try not to read the message under my post then....classic Victor. ;D

We've had almost no 'dodgy posts' or 'dodgy posters' lately.
I think I was the last person who posted something that offended another poster! :-[
I'm probably tempting fate here, but we seem to have a good 'mob' here. I'm also a member of the BBC Food Forum and there's some real whinging there about the standard of moderation, which I think is paid for.
Personally, I rely on 'report to mod' e-mails.
My favorate ex-moderator was Philip Hanson. He was the SAS of window cleaning forum moderators and often livened up this place with his views and no-nonsense attitude.
I bet he misses 'modding' and thinks I'm too soft and unaware of the 'greater' issues surrounding window cleaning.
He'd be right!

Thing is, there's a lot less to mod now.
Graham was the most persistant offender, but that was before the chat section.
We're probably just as bad on there, but it's tolerated.

Squeaky, you're right.
This was meant to be a post praising the mods; NOT saying how easy our job is now.
Therefore thread locked! ;D
(OOh the power!)
