Your web browsing history springs to mind as that's sometimes how google ad words work  ;D

Should mature people not date then?

And the adverts you see are tailored to your browsing history the fact that you see these adverts is because this is something you have searched for on your computer.

Are you a mature person looking for a date? If so my mum is now single , she is 89 but still has a bit of life in her, text me your number and I will tell her to give you a ring ;)

My understanding is the site owners can set what ads are displayed per page in the header or footer or where ever they want them to show. On this site for example i.e. paid listings you will see most of the time as they will just rotate. However if a page is not set and there is a Google ad words code on that page if will display random ads what it thinks most appropriate from users web history.

That's about it really as Google ad words on a popular website earns the site owners a percentage of the click through rate so sometimes a considerable  extra revenue can be earned in doing so. There is nothing like getting a nice fat Google cheque through the post every month for literally doing bugger all  ;D

My phones search history has nothing to do with it. The phone crashes every couple of days so the search history disappears.
Certainly not looking at 89 year olds.
At first I thought it was the forum member who had been paid to display it!
