I have used Van Compare before and A Plan now.

I have a 650 liter tank and all brokers I've used have sourced insurance through Ageas.

At one time Ageas was the only insurer that would insurance a van carrying anything over 500 liters.

Some have tried and used Aviva. My car is insured through them but they refused my van as I had a tank fitted.

It all depends if you can get a full fitted out van with a  system .

I can easily take my system out and put in a courtesy truck but if a transit goes into the back of me in an accident and I can't get the tailgate open I'm knackered .

So I'll happily stick with A-Plan as they are first rate with sorting out any claim .

Aviva was around £240 cheaper than A plan for me.
It all depends on what level of cover you need.

A plan  for me they seem like one of the few that understand about water tanks in vans.

I was in shock two weeks ago.
Went from £300 ish to the renewal quote of £564!
Price comparison websites were £460 ish
Aviva.... I'm not kidding you £233! :o
One year old L200 with no mods as equipment carried dose changed from time to time.

It's a shame that pricing fluctuates every year as it seems everyone wants the new customer and your increase funds the new customers saving.
