Title: anyone use a garden blower after sanding?
Post by: Terry A on October 27, 2015, 06:42:28 pm
Do's anyone use a garden blower after re sanding block paving?
I saw a video on you tube and thought it looks like a good idea and would  save a lot of sweeping.

I use one all the time….you just need to practice ALOT otherwise you end up with no sand in the joint.

Only if sealing

For anyone who interested get yourself a Bentley bulldozer broom £10 at b&q - best broom ever, cuts sanding time down no end, and sweeping up after pressure washing is a doddle

+1 on the bentley brooms,
Had ago using a petrol backpack blower that a gardiner had on a job but found it to powerful.

looked great to start with until you turn around and see that the sand  has gone over your head and landed behind you. Possibly with a lot of practice you might get the it right but sweeping is what I went back to. Have just sold the blower for thirty quid an it cost me over £300
