Title: Problem coffee stains on grey carpet tiles
Post by: heritagecleaning on October 24, 2015, 08:12:39 pm
I'm doing a commercial at the moment with Dynamall. All good in the main, but the customer has shown me some coffee stains which the caretaker has 'worked on' - not with Vanish but they have been scrubbed-in a bit.
I could try Browning Prescription, Craftex (sod met) or maybe a more concentrated Dynamall spotter.
What do you think I should go with first?

Personally I would try a plain cold water rinse first, then some acid at 8:1, then craftex sod met with some dwell, then if that doesn't work sod met with some heat.

If you speak with John Kelly he can advise you on encap products that have peroxide in them that are very effective at removing coffee stains. when we encap I will have a concentrated solution in a pump up sprayer that I will apply to stains as I approach them with the rotary. Jamie also supplies a product called hydrox which is very effective.
