Title: DRY FUSION ROTARY
Post by: Paul Wisdom on October 20, 2015, 08:21:27 pm
I have a dry fusion machine that I rarely use now and was wondering if I could get a brush attachment for agitation when using my HWE machine. Will most brushes fit this machine, or do I need a special brush attachment.

Only the dry fusion brush will fit the machine (they are not cheap).

Why don't you just use the drive plate and a dry fusion pad for agitation.

Thanks for the info.
That's what I have been doing - but not that impressed. Just thought a brush would be a lot better.

Dry-Fusion machines are made by Columbus and a brush can be obtained from them, I purchased one from them quite a few years ago at a  fraction of the DF price

You are in Staffordshire according to your profile we are in Shropshire just over the border if you want to try the brush we have let us know.

Its better to see if its does what you want than buy one and then find it no good to you.

If you are talking about commercial work then a red pad works far better than a brush attachment anyway. That's what we find and we scrub with red pads now on commercial work. I have never used dry fusion so don't know if a red pad will work on your drive plate but don't see why not if it holds pads.

I bought my brush from kevin martin, he can supply a centre piece for most machines which you can then fit multiple brushes to its cheaper than the df brush and good quality but you will have to remember to turn your heater off on the machine.
