looking to fit an immersion today ,whats the best one to fit a 650 litre tank? and how long would it take to heat the water to a usable temp ? thanks in advance ...

I've got a 500ltr upright tank. Decided to put the 11" immersion into it using mechanical flange.  Works well.  I put it on for 3-4hrs in the winter months, keeps hoses supple.  When temp gets down to 1-3degrees by the time water has run through hose on the ground it's not too hot when hitting the glass.
You can fit the longer one if it's not to close to a plastic baffle. Reach down as far as your arms can for low placement. 👍
