past day when working pump just randomly stopping. Varistream still on and showing green light. Then pump starts running again in a few mins sometimes less. Any ideas?
already purchased new pump to change over.

Check calibration, check wiring connections, sounds like a loose connection to me

Ditto.

Check ya wires mate I had this happen to me some days av been scratching me head and everytime it's either been the connection to the battery or the wire were connects to pump.
Or sometimes an air block, in this case you may have to take the hose off the outlet of ur Di bottle ........ But stand back as u pull it 💨

Pressure switch is also a possibility.

had a mess about with wires but nothing. As for battery power i don't think it is that as varistream is still on and never goes off.

Battery needs charging or is running flat,if you drive and then it's fine and its split charged it's the battery

try cleaning external filters if you have any I once had a motorcycle that did the same sort of thing it would run for a while then cut out then when stood for a bit the fuel filter would fill off I would go/it was full of crud .cleaned it out sorted. or see if you have a kink in any pie work

If you have a fuse check that its not lose then check that the connections on the battery are not lose or corroded, disconnect
the battery terminals and give then a rub with sandpaper.
I also find that that if I over tighten the pipe connectors on the pump it causes it to jam, they should be hand tightened only.

If it was the battery it should show on the controller and wouldn't start up again on its own unless charged. Has to be a loose connection that rattles.

Deffo the battery a mate of mine if he has left his switched on over the weekend it runs the battery flat and he is on a split relay , Battery will need a good overnight charge .

Fit new bullet connectors with a proper crimper - do not use crappy scotch type squeeze on connectors.

^^^ Agree with Darran. Our water's getting colder and calibration may need to be raised one point.

Varistreams aren't meant to be connected with the pressure switch in the circuit. A mates Varistream gave all sorts of issues, but has worked fine once the pressure switch was taken out of 'play'.

Charge your battery!!!

Turns out a terminal block had melted!. Noticed when stripping back insulation tape. It was on red wire from pump. Oh well now have a spare pump. Good thing to have on the shelf i guess.
