As far as pricing of jobs is concerned work out an hourly rate you will be happy with,(say £20 an hour), from this work out how long you need to clean a house and bingo you have a price for the job.
Are you planning to go trad or water fed pole? If wfp you will need to find out your TDS for the purification of water. Get a TDS meter and go from there...

Welcome to the forum Ryan.
Best have a good look through the site as there is loads of info already posted. ;)
Regards pricing jobs up that's always a tricky one as there's so many factors to take into consideration. Most will say as already mentioned but it's not a simple as that as some jobs you could end up undercharging especially if you have not gained any experience on the cleaning methods used and how long a job would take. Not to mention the added cost in running a cleaning business so being honest an hourly rate don’t mean jack if you want my honest opinion as you are not working for an employer when you are self employed as you have overheads to consider too.

Put the feelers out in the area you intend to clean in, see what the guys are already charging and what type of service they
are offering for the price.
Lets say most are charging a £10 for a certain type of property but are only cleaning the glass, then you could do the same
or offer a glass frame and sill clean for a higher price.
Make sure you take your price from the guys that have been going for a while as guys who work for peanuts don't seem to last
even better guys who employ as that's a good indication that they have set a good price.
Don't undercut because this very rarely wins work in this business.
Its up to you what method you choose to use traditional methods, ladders mops and squeegees or water fed pole, the first is
cheaper and the second is slightly more expensive to get started in but safer, either way there are plenty of videos
online that will show you how to do both.

Best thing to do is get out door knocking . Ask em how much they pay , then offer to do it a couple of quid cheaper . As soon as you pick a custy up , tell the neighbours you have started cleaning that house cos she caught the regular cleaner stealing , or peeing in the garden . Or maybe start a rumour he is drug dealing . It's worked for me in the past .

Work on £30 per hour and 20 minutes per job without traveling. This I check with a 2 pound a window and |I do include double doors at 4 quid and front door at at 2 quid. Them compare with average prices in you area. We do get more in the south so it might be lower in the north. My minimum charge is 12 quid on a 3 window and door on the front and back the same. You will under quote or over charge and loose work but will get the jist of the work soon. If you are angry after the clean you have undercharged. If you give the customer a price and they say my god `that` high the just say you are running a special this week for new customer at....... and give a lower price. With in 2 weeks you will know what`s out. Just be bold and look confident by counting all the windows and giving the price and wait for a reaction. Keep your eye on there face for signs of joy or rejection.
