One of my meters has packed up - the other is eight years old and still working well. I seem to remember some time ago there were some duff Chinese copies about. How can you tell the genuine HM meter?

if your tap water gives a constant tds reading when you get a new meter check tap water . if your still unsure ha a word with another window cleaner and compare readings

There must me fortunes in counterfeit tds meters. ;D

;D that's where it came from. Just feels cheap and tacky compared to my old one. I'm not saying it was a copy - just don't want to buy a duff one in future. There's over 1000 on Ebay!
