Post by: dave f on October 10, 2015, 05:21:02 am
ad my fog wash a good few years then stopped using it last summer any way came to use it again got it ready to use turned it on and it leaked like a good un, under further examination I found tha the rubber diahpram  had split .I have tried all over to source a replacement but could not get one so out came the blue heat resistant silicone selant left it for a few days bingo up and running .I have taken the other heater out which I had replaced it with so ready to give it a work out on  Monday  ;D

Nice one but what's a rubber diahpram and where is it   ???

The only time a chepo water heater had packed up on me was my fault when it got frozen solid and the pipe going into the heater matrix burst. Oops!... was simply binned and replaced  ;D

I was  actualy going to keep the old heater for parts but decided in the end to just bin it as I've way too much crap in the garage as it is as I'm a bit of a horder  ;D
