Personally I think it depends on the area you live in. I have been advertising in the Thomson local for the last two years and have signed up for my third.

I have had quite a lot of work out of it. Mainly it has been one-off cleans which usually the first job has paid for the advert.

I would recommend advertising in here.

I also use Thompsons local, the response is not overwhelming but it pays for its
self. I also use local paper ads once a month and that bring in a few jobs again it pays for its self. I also leaflet mostly a waste of time, but someone suprises me with a call 6 months later from a leaflet so you never can tell.

had yellow pages on phone today they are all at it at the moment
