Nope, Xline brush is great.
Local website Streetlife.com full of bargain hunters in my area - some k nob has started a debate on how window cleaners earn double the amount they get paid in their job. Unfortunatey I can't help myself and have waded in ;D
Woud put a link up but it might give away too much.

Ha Harrr, bet old Bob wishes he'd gone shopping or sumat instead now!! ;D
-
👍
-
Bob s. Looks like he has ALL the answers!! Lol
-
;D probably some saddo who lives on his own.
Winds me up when people look down on us for having a 'low skilled' job. Some of my customers who I've had for years refer to me as 'window cleaner' instead of using my name.
Funny lot - my wife deals with the public every day - I'd kill some of them if they spoke to me the same way (and lose my job) ;D
-
He sounds like he's a pr❗️Ck ,
' Carrie H. When you say "professional" I assume you mean "good"
He really does look down on us, can we not be professional because we are window cleaners?
-
The answer to this debate is simple . Let the Eejits express their ill informed and unfounded opinions.
At the end of the day we run businesses they are by definition commercial profitable enterprises.
The same as any other business
Ignore them and keep keep working away .. That Ferrari and 20 bedroom house isn't going to buy itself..
And when you get it you will be a window cleaner with a big house and a fast car.. They will still be ill informed opinionated wukfit's

Just because it's a manual job, doesn't mean we've gotta earn crap money, what we earn hourly is irrelevant to anyone as we don't all have customers next door to each other. I know posties who take home £600-£700 a week, yes that's take home pay and that is a manual non skilled job but excellent pay. I know people who are cashiers in morrisons who are on crap pay, but they've got really nice new cars and they aren't doing anything dodgy, it's just they have a low mortgage so the crap pay is actually good pay for them as they don't have big bills.

You will always get people that try to work out how much a window cleaner can earn per hour but we all know it's none of their dame business as they either want the service or they don't ;D

Ay, i have a customer who is eighteen pounds but nearly always gives me twenty and says keep the change. Last month i did price rises, put her up to twenty and yes she cancelled because she is a widow/pensioner on a budget who cant afford a price rise! I phoned her up and asked her would she resume our service if we froze it at eighteen and she said yes.
No doubt next month she will give me twenty and say keep the change ::)roll
