Hi was cleaning for a client on sat and they asked me about cleaning a jute rug with a latex backing. Not having done any rug cleaning courses and being a bit unsure on method for this I told them I would get back to them regarding the clean. What would the best method for cleaning this type of rug be?
Many thanks
Aaron

Leave it.
If you want it then microsponges only I think.
-
Dry cleaning sponges only, it will not tolerate liquids.
-
It a dry clean only.

Has it got a cut pile surface or an intertwine loop pile? Have you got a photo? Have attached 2 for your perusal, which one is it like if any? Regards. Paul

Cheers guys thought so, told the customer this but said I would follow up with some info for them. It's closer to the 1st photo, didn't get a photo myself I really should get in the habit of taking photos on the job

Thanks Paul, don't think I will be taking it on just yet. They just asked me about it when I was doing the carpets.
