Title: RO Membrane Housing

Anyone know how to get them open they just wont budge , I dont have a spanner tried all sorts even a hammer and chisel but the thread just wont turn .

If its the 40 40 housing, then an old radiator valve will screw into the thread on the end of the cap making it easier to twist and pull.

Not 40/40 just a standard 12"  RO housing . Cheers

I have used 'oil filter removal tool rubber' previously with success long time ago. Just type the search term in Google images to see what it looks like. It has  adjustable strap so smaller diameter makes no difference. Hope this helps.

Yes  I resorted to oil filter pliers in the past when I had a smaller RO.
Worked a treat after snapping a couple of those supplied plastic wrenches previously.  ::)roll
