Title: Website advice!
Post by: jo5hm4n on September 11, 2015, 11:30:33 pm
So alongside my Window Cleaning business i run another part time business in which all of my work comes from a website.  Organic first page listings on google.

I'm thinking of now getting a website designed for my window cleaning for 2 reasons.    1.  Have a payment page on the website to accept card payments automatically which helps save me collecting or manually taking card payments etc...
2.  I know that a website will generate more local business for me if i do manage to get on first page of google close to the top.

My problem is at present im only running a part time window cleaning business so i only want to generate a little more business from a website, and i have no commercial work so more than anything i would like to maybe take on 1 or 2 commercial jobs to see how they pay per hour.

My current website designer charges me £100 per month for website maintenance and SEO.  I get a Website redesign every 2 years but for my window cleaning business this is too expensive dont want to spend £100 a month im looking to pay somebody maybe a few £100 as  a one off or somebody that will charge say £50 max per month, can anybody recommend anybody on here that designs good websites and does SEO for them on here?

Still would like a professional website design but without too much cost because i do generate most of my work from Canvassing so i am not desperate but a website presence would help and be a little more professional overall!

Thanks guys

Yep definitely talk to Nat, he did my website for me 2 years ago, and working really well for me,  the £100.00 a month your
paying for maintenance & SEO seems outrageously expensive to me.
