Title: Coffee granules
Post by: Derek Corbrick on September 07, 2015, 08:30:45 am
Hi guys, I am cleaning a felt backed bedroom carpet tomorrow which has had coffee granules spilt onto it some time ago. The granules have dissolved and then gone very hard over a period of time. What do you advise?

Boiling water, sugar and a straw

On a serious note I would imagine warm water would soften them up

If its decaf it will be more difficult to remove because of the synthtic dye in it.

Try to remove as much as possible dry if you can.

A good tamp with a carding brush should help.
