On a few houses this past week there have been very small translucent marks (looks a bit like a hard water mark or glue or sealant or similar but scratches off easily with a fingernail). Any idea what they may be?
Typically there are about three or four randomly per pane and they do not come off easily with the brush but need the edge to remove the mark.

Iv been getting them on the inside windows in my house, thought it maybe something to do with the washing up liquid I use

Are these on wooden frames Mr gold ?

I've had them too on some of my properties. Must be some milk pooping insect or something.

Remains of snail trails that haven’t been completely washed off by the rain maybe?

I've had the odd milky coloured splash like Mark but quickly rubbed off with a cloth or finger only really noticed marks whilst rinsing

I think I may get the same. Don't come off very easy with a brush so end up scraping with fingernail.
It must mean I'm not removing them from upstairs windows as my nails are that long and I can't see them up there.
One up for traditional ladder cleaners probably.
