I've not cleaned tarmac yet but I've been asked to quote to clean a drive with lots of moss.
Should I use turbo lance or flat surface cleaner?
Thank you
Terry

Be careful it's not crumbling or you will blast it away ! If not too bad I use 25, but used a turbo this week, as it was only thing that would shift it :D

That reminds me of a job as was browsing through my pics earlier as was a bit cold that day ;D

Nicely done papa smurf.
Flat surface cleaner and 25 degree nozzle, I always pretreat mossy Tarmac a couple of days before with hypo solution. it can be difficult to remove depending on the type of Tarmac your cleaning when using the nozzle (edges a hard to reach areas) I start at a low pressure and increase as required

I once blew a big chunk of tarmac off next doors drive when rinsing off some overspray, so ever since then its been a case of softly softly catchy monkey.

Well you lived up to the blast off name that day for sure ;D
I've also found out that using a washer can do a lot of damage too if not careful. It seems my favourite trick is when using a vario nozzle is that I inadvertently have it on full pressure when wanting to rinse down then proceed to destroy a bit of fencing etc.
Tip: Best not lean on the lance tip with a vario nozzle fitted... Oops! ;D

Glad I'm not the only one that does that with the vario nozzles my other trick is not clipping nozzles in properly.
