I cleaned a driveway, patio and paths at a house last week, I'm going back to sand it tomorrow, driveway won't be a problem and will be using weed kill patio sand but out the back of the house up the pathway to the patio, there are some large gaps.
My question is, will the kiln sand be sufficient or do I need to use something that will set a little harder in the biggest gaps?
Thanks.

I would replace it with what you took out, if it was just sand then replace it with the same.
You can't be pointing up gaps or using that brushed in setting sand&cement, unless thats what you have promised in your quote

Thanks Mike, to be honest, I said as long as they pay for the sand, I'd do it as part of the clean price but that was last week, not sure how long it will take but tomorrow will be a valuable lesson in what not to promise!
