It's a cheap copy with an axail / swash plate pump. ::)roll
-
are loncin a crap make pal?
-
bought a 13hp loncin from jetmac about 6/7 years ago. it has been a great machine and as long as you service it then it is fine. i also have a gx 390 washer from qwashers which is alsoa well built machine to a higher spec.

Loncin make some good engines - but the pump is not a very good one - certainly not much better than the £178 one on eBay. At the end of the day is a £60 engine and a £40 pump - the trolley on there is much better than the galvanised ones of the same size though.
-
haha im noticing that as i learn more about these pressure washers at my budget price you think you find one with a decent engine and it has a poo pump!!
how about this briggs & stratton, theyre not bad engines are they?

-

Probably a Briggs with gearbox on trolley - 200 Bar 9LPM or there was one in a carry frame at 150 bar @ 11 or 12LPM I can't remember now! :D

Yes the pump on there is worse than the loncin!

I've had a chepo 14 hp loncin washer for yonks and has earned me good money.
If/when the pump goes I will stick on a 21 lpm interpump

have a look on jetmac site , he has some good videos showing and explaining about pumps and how the all work on different spec washers. waranties are not much good if you dont live in northern ireland or near his area to drop it off if something goes wrong.
i sold my loncin, i may be looking to get another washer, had too many calls asking for quotes. cant do them. waiting for someone who has just bought a good package and realises they cant make the money they think they can pressure washing drives. work is very few inbetween. i wouldnt like it to be my only work coming in. its ok if you are established and have contacts to obtain work.
-
Haha sounds like a good plan pal, I'm just gonna get one from Rutland when Ben gets back, I've heard good things about the Briggs Stratton engines and Ben seems to have a lot of positive reviews on here so I feel safe that's he's not selling me a lemon😂😂

You had a good spec washer their jonny and I've still got your old pics ;D
-
yeh, i got it for a good price, sold it for near as what i paid for, got all the spec put on after good advice from you lot. but the work was hit & miss. last year i only got 2 calls, so sold it while it was still good cond.
im thinking about giving my van a full sleeve tattoo.
pics of what i offer, pressure washing is one, i think this will generate a lot of work around my window cleaning.
whats put me off is if your van is vynil wrapped it stands out not only to potential customers but also to THIEVES who will think you have all that gear in van all the time.
even if van is empty they will not know untill they break the rear doors open.

I find domestic pressure washing work is easy to pick up just by speaking to an existing customers base.
If they don't know you can clean their fithy, slippery decking, paving, patio and/or driveway you will loose out.
Existing customers can be a goldmine for add on services as is easier to upsell to them than finding new customers.
Bit like mcdonalds saying "do you want fries with that" ;D ;D ;D

yes please ;D
