Title: Sealer for fake stone sill's?
Post by: Rob@Blast off on August 20, 2015, 10:45:40 pm
Been asked to seal those reconstituted stone sill's on a new build job I'm doing, what would be the best to use topical or impregnating?
Also one has an unknown brown spot on and typically its also the hardest to reach  ::)roll

We use water based Teflon (impregnator). Those sort of sills have no lintel above (like old houses) so all the water ends up on them.

Got the stain off  :)
Had to ladder 3m down then 4m up again tried hypo didn't touch it, used muriatic acid in the end. Going back on the 7th to seal them.
