Hi,
Could anyone please advise me how I should go about removing the paint from these UPVC frames. It looks likes like someone couldn't be bothered with covering the UPVC whilst painting the exterior walls!
Thanks, James.

Solvent and a scourer pad, then be prepared to "CIF" the whole section down.

Thanks all for your advice. I found the following on eBay which will probably do the trick:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SOLVENT-CLEANER-PVC-UPVC-PVCu-WINDOWS-DOORS-CONSERVATORY-FASCIAS-CLEANING-1ltr-/360619622198?hash=item53f69abf36
I haven't committed to doing the job but I will quote a decent price if the customer is unwilling to do it himself & really wants it done.

Don't think that will help you much, paint is not a stain, and that exterior paint is very difficault to remove.
You could use thinners, but run a risk of damaging the upvc, you can get little plastic scrapers that remove paint really well

That looks like a job sombody who is deperate for work would take on !

I would walk away from that one without even thinking about it, if you damage the UPVC, they will blame you, if you spend a
long time working on it with chemicals without success, they could be reluctant to pay.

Small scraper and some tesco brillo pads for 30p
Charge around £30 to £40 per window to make it worth while .

Thanks all for your advice - much appreciated! I think I'll leave this one for the customer to do!
