Title: Buying a ClarkeCBM240E pump advise please
Post by: MNWC on August 19, 2015, 08:20:44 pm
Been advised by June at gaps water that this is the booster pump for a 4040

https://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/cbm240e-1in-multi-stage-230v-booster-pum (https://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/cbm240e-1in-multi-stage-230v-booster-pum)

My question is... the way i control the water in my ibc is by way of a standard ball cock, so when the transfer pump kicks in to fill the van the water in the ibc starts to flow again.

Will the booster pump kick in when the ball valve goes down and will it stop when the ball valve hits the right level.

Thanks

Yes it will unless you have your DI vessel between the pump and tank, I have this pump on my 4040 set up
