I flooded the garage yesterday! :o

Forgot to switch the hose over from 1 ibc to the other and it was already full.

About 3 hours of water running everywhere. Luckily there's good drainage straight out the front doors.

I've flooded the van so many times I put in drainage holes in the floor. ;D
People still toot and flash their light as I leave a trail of water down the road but I'm so use to it now I just ignore them  ::)roll

I'm on a meter so it pains me when I realise I forgot to turn off the water the night before and it's been going down the drain all night.  :'(

I fitted a float valve to my static tank so never need to worry now.  :P

I have my static setup in the back garden so it don't matter if it floods or not.  ;D

I had a float valve with my original kit but it only stopped the pure water from the RO. It didn't stop the waste water. I just time it now and use a barrel as an overflow tank in clear view of my back door a bit like the expansion tank for a car radiator. If there's any water in it I know my main tank is full and I turn everything off and switch the barrel for an empty one. I also produce my water in my garden in a small cabin.

This is my posh cabin

Contains a 400ltr tank, RO etc, and charging station for my Freedom trolley. Keeps the garden tidy. The small pipe coming out the side is the overflow pipe. Just pop it in a barrel and that's my visual indicator that the main tank is full as described above.
