I have a 45 foot full carbon pole that I imported myself for about £300 about two years ago. It is wearing fine, had to glue the odd clamp but apart from that it's ok.
Are they as good as gardiners poles? No way. But it got me out of a hole at the time as I had one job per month that I needed a 45 foot pole for.
Would I do it again? Probably not. For the few hundred quid you save I think you get far better quality by spending with a UK company and getting their warranty etc.

Got a sim pole from cleaning spot has no springs or shim on bracket after 2 weeks sent it back as the brackets don't hold the pole sections they received my pole back and refused to refund my money as it was scratch cost me £17 delivery cost got it back and left it to rot in the garage never spend a penny with cleaning spot again they should remove these poles from there Web site as they are badly designed

That don't sound good ???

45ft china is doing good , but hardly gets used .
My 18ft china has done well in a year . Odd clamp re glued and bought .
I'd pay more for a gardiners 18ft pole , be better .
The 45ft saved me loads for the amount of time I needed it for .
Slx is better quality clamps now and is what I'd buy

Thought the Chinese poles would be a similar quality to the UK pole as they import the sections, From the responses they don't come close, Will be remain with Facelift and Gardiners

These are not Facelift poles at all. Just cheap rip offs that are not manufactured properly with sections not fitting and clamping of poor quality. Some original Facelift poles are still in use 12 years on.

They are not 'cheap rip-offs' .....the only thing 'cheap' is the price.........as you can buy the same sections from the same company you use for your 'Facelift' branded poles.

was only last year you were going to sue them stephen over using the same design clamp?,i have found these poles really good, yes they do wear but thats down to the clamp design, pole sections are light and very rigid 5 layers of carbon in various weaves the last one/outer layer being 3k,i just need to get some spare clamps to stop the sections spinning and i am sorted again
