Done this factory office block for about a year now. My friend got me it. He even set the price up. The windows are full of paint splats etc. Gave them a scrape when I started but.....
Normally it 2 directors about 55 years old. Now and again I see this pumped up poop whos about 35 with a bad lisp. Dont know what he did in the company, but I thought he had very slight learning difficulties. I don't know, hes different.
I do it every 8 weeks and charge £15, Takes me 10 mins.
Today I pulled up and started cleaning. This Muppet waves then comes to greet me.
He says he prefers traditional. No problem. I go though the ins and outs. He says don't you dry it.....here we go. I have done it for over a year and now he asks questions. I show him inside van, di vessels etc. He said he noticed its a doddle. I said its safer and quicker but cost more etc etc. He never says anything. Then he says he wants its doing every 4 months. I said its £20 then. "WHY" its less work and more dirty. Does he give customers carpet at a cheaper rate if they buy more? YES, but never said that to him.
He said he wanted it at £15 every 4 months. I said it wasn't viable every 4 months.
We parted company.
Wife said I should have said, "well if you cant afford it " lmao
Ooops, I never did round back. Ill do it in 4 months time :)

Oh well their loss not yours.
I suppose you could have offered credit as obviously 20 squid was a bit much to lay out in one go ;D

wouldnt bother going back for those prices, you will replace it tomorrow :)

hi duncan, your better off without that especially when you have to deal with a jumped up numpty like him.

i had a 4 weekly wanting 3 monthly, usually when they do that its a way of letting you go slowly. i said yes because im desperate for work though lol

Personally I would not be dictated to the methods I would use and would have quoted alot more than 20 squid for a 4 monthly clean.

For the cost of £25 even every 4 months it's not much incentive, every job has a nob who thinks be knows best, but leave him to it

it never ceases to amaze me how penny pinching some customers are when their obviously doing ok financially.they move the goalposts,you charge more for a less frequent service.simple.
if they dont accept the new price?part company.
my brothers the same.the more money he earns the tighter he gets.i cleaned his 4 bedder with conny for free (of course) for a while.i would charge £30 for a property like this.hes now got some trad guy to do it for £10 a month.i tried to canvass round there(out of my areas i work) to make it worth driving up there but their paying the window cleaners peanuts for fairly posh middle class houses.i was over double the price they were being charged and as a result didnt pick up a single customer.

Not bothered but still pees me off.
Had them all this week.
Guy comes up to me and askes if he can move from every month to every 2. I say yeas but it will go up a little. I then said. its every 8 weeks anyway. She said no we were on holiday last time. I carried on and thought...its every 8. So I went to van and checked. Yes, every 8 weeks. SO I knocked on door. His wife answered. She said ignore him, hes 80. He didn't look older than 55 to me. Seemed to have a full set of marbles to me.
Don't you just love the public? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
