not long ordered some stuff from wcw.it looks like phoenix have a very similar set up to exceed 4 there pole range.they have a you tube video on it.hope steve has patent it looks almost identical. :-\

In my experience Steve is his own worst enemy with P155 poor communication
My last 3 orders have all been a struggle from parcels not being collected from Exceed, a sleeve ejector sent where the top did not fit the sleeve, I had to sand it down and finally the last order 2 pole bungs were sent, one being a lot smaller.
To his credit Stephen did offer to replace the sleeve ejector but never acknowledged any of the messages I sent him concerning the bungs until yesterday where I told him I would not deal with him again.
Shame he's a decent bloke and products, his tubeless pole is lighter than my SLX of the same size,
I'm happy I can source this kit from somewhere else , my income depends on reliable kit and suppliers

yes! the sleeves steve sent me didn't fit either.had 2 put insulation tape on the male connector 2 make them fit.even so, steve has come up with a very good product.like you said tho poor communication.

The bigger one needed a turn of tape and I glued it in, the smaller one was returned.

the phoenix ones looks similar,they do the bungs to.

The Phoenix version from Window Cleaning Warehouse was produced with the knowledge and help of Steve from Exceed.
They have also produced a kit for the Gardiner Poles too.

The simplicity ( if you so wish ) to add or remove pole sections quickly = less fatigue and does away with the expense of having several lightweight carbon fiber poles of different lengths, when one will suffice.

Don't know if theirs fit 'ALL' makes of poles or they've made them for their own Phoenix brand along with a kit for Gardiner Poles....they seem to be selling them for 'small/medium/large' poles ???...best to check with WCW......

Steve invents a great idea can't financialy sustain the initial launch of his product ,hopefully his secured patent, and able to make some money from this great product.

Great idea but if you dont want the use and extra weight of an aqua tap then you aint got no way of turning the water off .

Personally it something I have never got or see any need for, unfortunately in the race to come out with something
to beat the competition a lot of silly stuff is hitting the market.

Yes you have....kink the hose....remote control flow controller.....or even an in-line tap ::)roll.

I use an inline tap so hence no need to pay £30.00 for something when i am still dragging my inline tap along the floor mine is rock solid as i have adapted a valve body used for EZ snap fittings .
As for kinking if i need two hands free when i custy pays me for instance the kink does'nt always work so i just kink it as and when needed to save turning tap off at times .

I gave 3 options for turning the water flow off if using this connector....you said if you don't want the use of an Aquatap, then there was no way of turning the flow off.....hence my reply.

You are right Sean, in that its your personal choice but I explained a few posts up why I think its a good idea.
I modded my 40ft pole myself for a few quid to do exactly the same thing as exceeds, I have one pole that breaks down in to several lengths easily without pole hose permanently attached and complicating the process of adding and removing sections.
It has saved me a lot of money.

Yes Barry I understand that if your shortening poles or adding sections then a quick way of removing the hose tail would be
handy, but all you need is a 6mm push fit hose connector that costs about a £1 on Amazon, just put it a few inches from
the hose tail.
This has already been a cheap option for this long before this so called invention came about.

not just the hose tail but the entire hose, less the number 1 section of pole, feeding maybe as much as 15 meters of hose through removable pole sections is still time consuming. You can diy cheaply ( I did ), but if I were to be buying a new pole I would buy one with it already.

I used to do just that with a barbed joiner, found that a push fit joiner would snag and pull off when extending the pole. I now use rectus fittings in the same way exceed do.
I won't change your mind and that's ok, but it is an improvement and a lot more durable if that's the way you wish to work.
All that exceed and wcw have done is refine the principle, I don't think its silly.

To be honest Barry I think we are arguing about something we both agree on just using different equipment to achieve the same
result.
To be honest I hadn't thought of that advantage until you pointed it out, don't know if will sell anymore poles though
but yes it has a use.

i have built my diy hoseless pole set up since christmas and have my inline tap fitted at the top, i tried the gardiner all season yellow and was too soft and stretchy then fitted a length of gardiner orange and its been spot on!

Looks like you do the same as me - two T pieces , fan jets and pencils, alternate between either to what suits the job. ;)
