Title: How much would you charge to clean this (trad)?

Got this job through today, looks interesting. I told him £20 but first time £30.

I think I will need a big step ladder for it but hopefully I can lean the extension ladder normally. The amount of frames and tiny windows will make it hard to clean I'm guessing.

Yes just pole the lot and don't go OCD on it, there's too much going on there to get it perfect or for the customer to
notice the odd mistake.

I reckon a lot of those frames would leak with wfp, trad the only way to do a thorough job, would be interested to know how long it would take you, me thinks twice as long as you've quoted for.

It looks to be a restaurant so I would say they are well sealed and better installed than they look, give the frames a good scrub and shouldn't get many problems doing them WFP.
Like I have already said its that busy looking that you wont notice a few drips and spots here and there, would take you forever
to trad them.

I can't see anywhere for ladders to be put up safely to clean that lot, and I am trad!

My first question would be why are they looking for a window cleaner
I bet they say "no one wants to do it  for some strange reason"....
And my reply would be "nor do I"  ;D

ouch, thats harsh. Went there this morning and it was very dirty. The windows got its own style and is congruent with the rest of the building. The cafe is pretty big but unfortunately no free parking. Its will cost me £2.50 per hour to park nearby.

I also thought parking would be a pain too. Some jobs are just not worth the hassle no matter how much you are going to charge for a job like that  if you ask me. There is plenty of easy work to be had so why bother with crap like that beats me.

Most people on this thread have said they would not touch it and that could be the response from most window cleaners in your area.
If that is the case go in high and you will probably get it and if you don,t nothing lost.

Never be fazed by awkward jobs just price it high to reflect.

And if you are trad and do work like this invest in an a frame ladder it will make jobs like this much easier.
