Is there really a need/place for buffers on domestics or are you better or with your oreck/floormac??
Fancy a sprite 300 but is it pointless when i have an orbiter?

I have a Floormac Steve but only use it on stairs..small landings...small bedrooms and bedrooms on the second floor of those new 3 storey builds that are a pain.
I use a Sprite 300 on probably 90% of all jobs at some point...quicker and does a better job.

I have a 15 inch rotary and rarely use it on domestics. I know many will disagree bit I think the sebo duo is the perfect agitation device for 90% of domestic situations its small, light and easy to move around yet lifts the pile rather than flattens it which most rotary's do.

couldn't agree with you more the duo lifts the pile lovely and agitates well also nice and light

used to use my victor in domestics, although im aware its not ideal on wool, now i use a pro 35 and it does a brill job.

yes, heavy contra rotating brush is best, easy to manover and better result then any rotary, sebo is a toy comparing to tm4 or pro 35,

Im sure the heavier CRBs are great and I suppose I cant comment as I have never used one, I do wonder what having one will achieve over my "Toy" though. At present the "toy" seems to work the prespray into the fibers and often times removes a lot of the fibers, will a more powerful heavier machine not just rip out more pile. I thought dissipating the prespray and lifting the pile was the objective, not collecting bags of carpet pile.
Can you describe the benefits for the domestic property please.

Robin hi, i use a pro 35, on domestics, compared to my duo which i bought when i first started out, its a total game changer, much much better results, it really does make a big difference. Its quit amazing how much crap the 35 lifts out of the carpet..............
it works the pre spray in big time and on some jobs the carpet looks "finished" prior to extraction.
Plus the bonus of using it to encap commercials...........

Less fibres then a duo imo but you sure know it when you get a ground in pet hair job. always use soft brushes on wool and it still brings fibres up tho. Does a good job. Easier then my rotary but perhaps slower and sometimes safer.

yep, pet hair, general crud and yes some loose carpet fibre, amazing what comes out...............

robin if you get heavier one dont sell the sebo, good on "clean" carpets where no need heavy aggitation
as guys above said, the crap that crb lifts can not be lifted by rotary, somethines you dont see hairs and when you finish the carpet and comes to brushes cleaning you realize whats under machine, just show it to customer and she will call you more often :)
somethimes i even use white brushes on wool if its realy destroyed, huge different, on these kind of carpet you dont care about extra pulled fibres.
another story, it saves you loads of money on spotters as much more stains dissapears after heavy crb what cant after sebo.
and its worth this money as should last longer then 3 sebos, brushes last easy 2-3 years and more.

robin on wool carpets especially there is a lot of fibers come out your right you need to use the white brush ,with the blue brush and white ,you need to be careful what your going over where carpets are just butted and tacked in doorways, or things like a click in a cheap berber watch out ,they can do some damage ,you would most likely love one when used to it ,there a great machine love mine,am thinking about the tm3 too for the likes of bedrooms and small stuff

Hi, just seen you mentioning the sprite 300 which I agree is great for domestic and commercial agitation prior to extract but also brill for encap on its own. Does anyone know the best place to buy a new sprite 300 carpet brush as mine is old now and need a new one. Cheers.
