Title: Blue Ink on Carpet?
Post by: Tom Molloy on July 26, 2015, 08:23:32 pm
Hi Guys / Gals,

I am doing a carpet clean this week. The customer has a big blue ink stain. They want it fully removed if possible or at least, heavily reduced. I have the prochem stain pro. However, when using this it reduces rather than removes (after application, I extract with split x). Has anyone got any alternative solutions?

Thanks

Tom

hi mate, i did a four bedroom house the other day, fairly straight forward, a few nasty stains which were dealt with, but one was a very large printer ink stain (on a nice cream wool carpet), i was told by the client (it was an eot) not to worry as that carpet was being replaced due to the stain, which to me was a challenge, so i went to work with  alltec specialist stain remover, and a bit of alcho spot,  worked at it for a while, tamping, and working in with a spatula, now, it wasnt 100% result, but lets just say  95% sorted, a very happy client, and i personally think a very good product........
